Agia Napa downtown and harbor

The downtown of Agia Napa is a lively place full of stores, restaurants and cafes. Here you can stroll through the narrow streets, buy souvenirs and taste the local cuisine. The downtown area is also a popular meeting place for locals and tourists alike, especially in the evening when the streets are filled with people eager to enjoy the vibrant nightlife. A variety of bars, clubs and discos are also located here.

An absolute highlight in Agia Napa is the harbor. Here you can enjoy the picturesque atmosphere and look out over the turquoise Aegean Sea. The harbor is not only a popular spot for boat tours and water sports activities, but also a great place to sample fresh fish and seafood in the cozy restaurants and tavernas. Watch the fishing boats enter the harbor and enjoy the smell of freshly grilled fish in the air.

Just a short walk from the port is the former monastery of Agia Napa, which now serves as a museum and cultural center. This historic building was built in the 16th century and is an impressive example of Cypriot architecture. Inside the monastery are a collection of icons and religious artifacts that provide insight into the Orthodox tradition. The monastery is a place of peace and contemplation that offers a contrast to the hustle and bustle of the city.

Sculpture Park Agia Napa

The Sculpture Park is an impressive place where art and nature blend harmoniously. Here you can admire a variety of sculptures. The entrance to the Sculpture Park is free, which makes it an attractive destination for art lovers and the curious. The sculpture park offers not only an impressive collection of sculptures, but also a breathtaking view of the turquoise sea. You can walk along the paths and admire the works of art amidst the Mediterranean vegetation.

The Sculpture Park is easily accessible by public transportation. The bus stop of bus 101 and 102 is called Kryou Nerou Ave – Marina Hotel 1, from where it is a short walk to the entrance of the park. Buses run regularly and offer a convenient way to reach the park.

Cactus Park and Bridge of Lovers

The adjacent cactus park is another jewel in Agia Napa. This garden is a green paradise that houses a variety of Mediterranean plants. The entrance to the Kakreen Park is also free. It is important to note that both parks can get very hot during midday, as there is practically no shade. It is recommended to schedule your visit for the early morning or late afternoon hours to avoid the heat. Do not forget to bring enough water and protect yourself from the sun.

Besides the parks, the adjacent rocky coast of Agia Napa offers another spectacular natural experience. Here you can admire impressive Sea Carves, the natural rock formations that resemble bridges and are known as Bridge of Lovers. The Sea Carves are a popular photo motif and offer a breathtaking view of the sea. A walk along the rocky coast is a great way to enjoy the beauty of nature and feel the cool sea breeze at the same time.

Cape Greco

Cape Greco, also known as Cavo Greco, is a stunning place in Cyprus that you must visit. To get there, you can easily take the bus. Bus lines 101 and 102 will take you directly to Cape Greco. Get off at the Kavo Gkreko 2 bus stop and get ready for a short 2 km walk. It is important to note that there is no shade on the way to Cape Greco and it can get very hot there. So be sure to bring enough water to refresh yourself during your hike. It is also worth mentioning that many visitors explore Cape Greco by rental car or quads.

Once you reach Cape Greco, however, you will be rewarded with breathtaking scenery. Cape Greco is known for its rocky cliffs and not necessarily for its beach. Nevertheless, this place offers a unique opportunity for swimming and bathing in the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Be careful, however, as the rocky cliffs and deep blue waters can be somewhat challenging.
